06 January 2020 --------------- The station was ceased since 01/01/2020. (Kehe - 06/01/2020) 18 August, 2000 --------------- Data type: "p" Data being received in ASFC from ANTDIV. The instrument is an induction magnetometer for recording geomagnetic pulsations and is owned by the University of Newcastle and operated by ANTDIV. Presently there is no calibration information available for converting the data to variations in nanoTesla. This information has been requested from the University of Newcastle Space Plasma Waves Research Group and as yet there has been no reply. We cannot currently ping any of our machines in these buildings. Can you take a look at the networking? It's strange that Aeronomy went first but depends on what has happened I suppose. cheers Lloyd ------------------------------ 21 June, 2006 (BB/RAM) [9370310] Mawson.pulse red Wed Jun 21 17:18:21 2006 mp060621.maw was appended to 885 minutes ago ----------------------------------------------------------- 22 June, 2006 (BB/RAM) [1648610] Mawson.pulse red Thu Jun 22 11:28:09 2006 mp060622.maw was appended to 260 minutes ago ------------------------------------------ 9 July, 2006 [4077610] Mawson.pulse red Sun Jul 9 02:40:37 2006 mp060708.maw was appended to 967 minutes ago ---------------------------------- 11 July, 2006 [5748210] Mawson.pulse red Tue Jul 11 19:20:41 2006 mp060711.maw was appended to 612 minutes ago ----------------------------------- 12 July, 2006 Hi Glenn I'm getting nurmerous power disruptions to the Aeronomy building over the last few days which are starting to cause pretty serious problems for the computers within. I'd say that the UPS is no longer working as a UPS. Can you get your guys to take a look? Perhaps we'll need some parts sent down next season. Hopefully it's something simple. cheers Lloyd ------------------------------------- 13 July, 2006 [4569710] Mawson.pulse red Thu Jul 13 11:50:41 2006 mp060713.maw was appended to 462 minutes ago --------------------------- 13 July, 2006 (AAD/RAM) Hi Lloyd, The ADAS machine has a hardware problem with the VGA card (intergrated onto mother board) Symptoms of the fault are the display not orienting properly for its video mode, and a lot of background video noise in the form of waves and patterns on the screen. I attempted to remedy the fault by first checking the system power supply was OK then observing BIOS settings and performing a CMOS factory reset. With the video built onto the mother board there was little else I could do. The fault has been resolved by disabling onboard video and installing an AGP card. I am wondering if you still want me to go ahead with the software rebuild now, or place the machine back into production ? Regards, Dominic. ------------------------------- 30 July, 2006 (RAM/BB) [5285410] Mawson.pulse red Sun Jul 30 10:41:04 2006 mp060729.maw was appended to 873 minutes ago ------------------------------------- FYI Data flow restored A bodgy fix is in place @ MAW to get the network link to the base net working. It appears to be holding. Hopefully it will stay up until the New Comms can be delivered & installed.
